LABOUR
LABOUR
The height that great men,
Attained and kept,
Were not attained,
By, sudden flight.
Nor by mere luck,
Wrong, or right.
For; while their brethren slept,
They were toiling onwards,
Towards the brighter light,
Even in those moonless nights.
As the lives of great men,
Remind us,
We too can make our lives,
Sublime.
And departing, leave behind us,
A trail of footprints,
On, the sands of time.
