Keep the Hope Alive
Keep the Hope Alive
Look at the vindication of mother earth
Perils of pandemic had made us all confined.
Lies everywhere now silence and emptiness
Cessation of livelihood and voids of lost lives.
But the irony prevails here in my eulogy.
Air surrounding us happen to be rejuvenating
For it haven't felt so good in ages.
Blossoms of spring embellish the nature
Marking the emancipation from any danger.
Yet, we can't embrace this change.
Not to forget humanity is at a stake.
Don't surrender easily, keep the hope alive.
As long dark nights always precede the dawn.
This too shall pass, since the healer is time.
For the sake of dreams you are adamant to live
And the urge that keeps you awake the whole very night.
Keep the hope alive, keep the hope alive
Until then; be a little intrepid and cherish these days.
Meet your soul that lies within for sanctification.
Smile a lot to express gratitude.
For you survived another day.
