Beating the cozy gusts

Sitting somewhere midst the warmest corner,

The solitary mind wandered back

To recollect the reminiscences of the past.

Aesthetic they're

worthy of the lone grin,

Oh the good old days

Joys and pleasure is what they gave.

Happy faces by your sides

Turned to be the reason for your smiles;

A few memoirs through dark

Have added to your spark.

Then the unbeknownst hurdles

That made you stand a little longer;

People who came and left

Perhaps made you who you are today.

Centered to thyself

Contemplating your time and space;

Following some paths and abandoning others
