Kailasa
Kailasa
Somewhere deep in the forest
Hills stood waiting for the sculptor
He studied its features and the shape it was to take he understood.
Then the sculptors began their work
Chip by chip the stones were taken down
Days, weeks, years it went on
Indefatigable were their spirit
They continued their work with their grit
Then the God smiled, and he descended on the stones
Temple, it turned out to be full of grandeur
People came and looked at it with awe
How was it possible they wondered
Their hearts swelled with pride.
Glory be their culture, people did nurture
Forests persevered all along, blessed by the nature.
