Just A Glimpse

It's a dazzling twilight outdoor,

The stars are shining in the sky.

Mesmerized by the sky's color,

I continue to gaze with wide eyes,

While standing on my terrace.

I have the most erratic breathing,

Oh! I am soaking in its utter charm,

 I reached here on time for you,

Expecting you'll come out.

I am filled with infinite patience,

Just one glimpse of you, a day, 

I am ready to linger for an hour.

Why am I here in the first place?

Is it for the warm look in your eyes, 

Or is it the confidence oozing out?

Who cares about the energy or view,

I am set to stand as long as I can!

A simple flash of your radiant face,

Oh! It creates ripples in my heart.

I have not hinted at my escapade,

Who whines about this madness?

I can wait the whole night here,

Being drowned in your dream.

This is the worst part of living,

To halt one's time for someone.

A bowl of chips to give me company,

I am away on my one-way journey.

I roam aimlessly to steal a glance,

Are you arriving in your space or not?

I know it's a silly act of mine,

But, you do not notice me.

We do not exchange glances,

I never come out from my hiding.

Hope you are at your house today,
