June's Bride

June's Bride

1 min
13

Rays of sun sneaked through the grilled windows,
I drenched myself in dawn’s soft chillness.
Cherished heartbeats hummed the dew’s sweet tune,
Crowned petals in June pirouetted in bloom.
Yellow sparks permeated through my gentle veins,
Hope drifted beside me to tread on golden-winged lanes.
In nature’s embrace, the mind forgives and forgets,
I smiled shyly to myself, with no regrets.
I married June, with a heart fully lit,
And the universe smiled at this insane spirit.
