Journey For A While

In childhood, we feel being an adult is the best,

No one asks them "How was your test?",

We see the bright side of their lifestyle,

They are strong, responsible, and versatile,

We envy that they are free,

Wherever they wish like a bird they can flee,

They have money to spend,

For parties, they don't ask permission to attend,

But when that child turns adult one day,

He realizes how tough is that role to play,

The school shoe seems easier to carry,

Wearing the adult shoe feels uncanny,

Everyone sees the smile on an adults face,

No one knows their windy and stormy days,

Parents remove stones on a child's way,

In return, all they ask is them to obey,

But an adult stumbles upon rocks and fall,

Alone he crawls and again stands among all,

A child can make a million mistakes and be forgiven,

Never an adult this liberty is given,

The other side seems greener always,

When we look from the sideways,

As we walk through the same path,

There we learn life's math,

Life is not easy nor it is tough,

In every phase, it is a bit rough,

It's up to you to whether cry or smile,

But remember here you are just for a while.
