Isn't It Worth It?

Isn't It Worth It?

Stepping into various roles in life,

Women move around,

Looking for others,

To assist them,

To put smiles during bad days,

To lift them up during despair,

The mind is always occupied with thoughts to help others in breaking chains of sadness.

Somehow amidst these tiring duties,

Women feel drained and hope for understanding,

Yearn to be understood by the people around me,

All they ever do is make it easier for others to fight their battles with ease and aid them in survival.

Do not say, "why do they have to do all that for others?"

As it is in their nature,

Their very first instinct,

And it is buried in their hearts and minds to ease people's pain every little while,

So isn't it worth it?

For them to breathe a little carefree,

And just be themselves for a while.
