A pen?

Am I just a pen?

To you, I might be a pen,

But to many,

I am a friend,

A friend to whom they held their tears,

To whom they cried a thousand tears,

A pen who helped in letting all the pain out,

In the form of not hatred but words,

I am a friend to those friends,

Who is abandoned by many friends,

I am a shoulder to all those,

Who found no one else to lean on,

I am a ray of positivity in the lives of many depressed souls,

I am a pillow to many night owls,

Who share with me many thoughts,

I am an acquaintance to all those early birds,

Who kick-start their days with a chug of hot-coffee mugs, a

But you have called me just a pen,

No worries of any sort,

As I invite you to join me in shedding some thoughts,

About life and stuff,

I bet you might find a friend in me,

As I accompany you along your journey,

While driving through many roads.
