I’m Not A Legend
I’m Not A Legend
26 letters,
To make points made before,
Folding and refolding,
To make an origami swan out of a lion roar,
No hope to be profound,
Just a thousand ways to say “sad”,
Mashed with obvious metaphors,
And forced rhymes that sound bad.
I’m not deep,
Because I’m drowning,
I’m not the next Shakespeare,
Just one of a million poets toting pens and frowning.
