Illusion... Better Than Reality?

Keeping a diary,

The mere thought of it is scary, 

Penning down all thoughts and events,

For someone else to read it without consent?!

That's something I can never comprehend.

Now things have changed, 

And it feels quite strange,

People I feel have become deranged. 

The things only close ones could read,

Are now in the open, 

With lakhs and million 'strangers' paying heed,

And that's creepy indeed. 

Everyone craves attention,

And relief from every day's tensions, 

For that Social Media needs a special mention,

For helping people make themselves quite a sensation, 

For how long... now that's the real question!
