If Not, Why Not
If Not, Why Not
Silver rays of hopes
Bouquets of values
Loads of burdens
Is she a girl of little use?
At times a smirk
At times a frown
At other times confused
This is her life's story.
Bond of relationships
Are very dear to her
She fears, some day
They will desert her
She now knows
Friendship, fun, laughter........
No longer matters of the heart
They give only drops of tears.
Often in the nights
She eagerly awaits sound sleep
But postcards of people's running lies
Sway before her tired eyes.
Tears start to roll down her lids
Can't life be little smoother
IF NOT, WHY NOT......
OH! MY OMNIPOTENT LORD.
