If I Were Blind

Yes, I can't see but I can hear,

I can hear the birds chirping

I can hear the gods divine,

I can hear the happiness of the children while playing in swings.

I can't see but I can feel,

I can feel the nature's beauty,

I can feel the drizzling rain,

I can feel my mother's warmth.

I can't hear but I can smell,

I can smell the delicious food made,

I can smell the beautiful flowers, 

I can smell all the lovely fragrances.

I can't see but I can speak,

I can speak for justice,

I can speak to God,

I can speak to my reflections 

What if I am blind?

I can still do many things,

We all can do everything,

It doesn't matter that we are blind or not, but all it matters is how we live the best life despite disabilities. 

Truly said, "The only thing worse than being blind is having no vision."
