If I could travel back in time 

For just a moment 

I would tell myself 

You are stronger than you think 

You will grieve 

and find gratitude 

You will make friends

and lose them 

You will gain perspective 

and discover purpose

You will fall into darkness 

and explore new depth of joy.

It will be hard

and then it will be okay.
