If Again

If I were to walk again

On the path yesterday I took

Would every wisdom I gain

Into my heart still remain,

Or should I struggle once more

To unlock the close door?

Then would I become aware

Of those thing that made me tear?

Could I avoid every shame

Or suffer just the same?

Would it be a victory

Or just the same misery?

If I again I were to walk,

Could I write a better book?
