I Still Think about You

I think about you when the road gets hard

Or when I sit on the porch at night 

and watch the brightest star wink back at me.

My dreams are no longer as painful

I smiled at every step we took 

and about every dream we planned together.

When I sit on the shore and look across the ocean

I remember your smile.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath to clear my head.

I keep moving forward, but I sometimes glance back.

And what do I do?

I still think about you... ❤
