I "Object"

"Those girls must not put pictures up,

They're the reason boys don't abide,

Their clothes and behavior ain't their calls,

It is for us to decide.

You see, their bodies are owned,

By the men who are their guide

They should know what they ought to be,"

And that is where we divide

Humans are humans, Sir!

And we must not take a side

"Boys will be boys", I know

Can we keep the privilege aside

And for once teach them how to be

And let's check what we must not elide

Respect, and rights and to reconcile

After all the damage that has spread wide

Kids and Girls and women, need to be safe

And comfortable in the hands wherein they first cried

The normalcy with which such things are dealt

This monstrous mindset is not something to hide

They need to know and they need to learn

That objectification is not a fun ride

It bears hurt and bears consequences

And lets make sure the lessons reside

In their hearts and minds

Let us fight! Fight for our pride!

And now that It's caught the eye

Let's not let it subside

Let's bring about a change now

Let's turn it to the upside!
