I Dreamt.....

"I dreamt......

I dreamt of a place.......

A place in the world......

A world where there are no electronic gadgets........

Gadgets such as televisions, desktops, laptops

Nor any cellphone

No cellphone tucked in........

In between those tiny hands

Which were meant to create something.......

Something rather extraordinary or unimaginable

No wires

Connected to the power socket....

Nor one connected to the ears

Blocking those sounds of the harmonica of the nature

And allowing only those sh**s to enter

All that was present were books

And books and books

Stuffed in those huge bookshelves

Waiting to be read.......

Read to imagine.......

Imagine to create something.......

Create something worth extraordinary

But then......

I opened my eyes

Discovered my cellphone buzzing for that morning alarm

On that table beside my bed

And I realised

That it was a place of fantasy

Was living only in my dreams

And dead in this century......."
