I AM who you made me

Cold, ruthless and shrewd.

You shattered my dreams and killed my hope

Whenever you thought I COULD.

You murdered the woman who loved you

Who respected and revered you as God.

All she ever wanted

Was an approval, a tiny little nod,

To live her life the way she wanted,

To fly with wings of her own.

But marrying you to be together,

Your suspicions and anger,

And carved out a part of her

I am your ugly reflection,

So now that you're losing the war,

You bend your knees begging for affection?

She is there still.

But your thoughts have always been wrong,

Kill your ego, your chauvinism,

Your snide remarks about me,
