I Am Feeling Nostalgic

I am feeling nostalgic about my sister's last birthday. It was such a lovely day. Her friends had come and we enjoyed a lot. The most memorable part was when I recited a self-composed poem for her. We both burst into tears and that was the most heartfelt poem I have ever written.

The poem -

"Happy birthday to my Lifeline'

You are my father,

You are my mother,

You are my friend,

One person but playing roles of many,

And you know what,

you are everything to me.

Your gorgeous smile makes my day,

And I wish you keep grinning every day,

You fulfill every wish no matter what I say,

You make me giggle all day.

You have done many things for me,

From dancing, painting, and spending your precious time with me to play.

I thank God for this every day

because he gave me such a good-natured and sweet sister like you.

My dearest sister I hope your birthday cake will be as sweet as you,

And remember that your birthday party is due."

That day was full of laughter and cry, but right now I am missing her cute smile.
