I Am An Introvert

Standing among people yet all alone

The only best friend I have in this crowd is my cell-phone

When someone makes an effort to talk with me

Awkward silence is generally what they receive

Wifi, food and books is all I need to function

Mandatory social encounters gives me tension

People say that I have a hyper-active imagination

Not getting my power-nap leads to my frustration

Staying at home makes me happy

Then why do you want to include me to make conversation snappy!

So many things I have in my head

But only few are, by me, actually said

I think a hundred times before I blurt.
