I AM A WONDER
I AM A WONDER
I'm a wonder like any other;
A wonder I knew not, nor others.
No eyes detected my true self.
Were they just blind ? I don't know.
Not one is like me, nor can be another me;
Even I struggle at times to be myself.
It demands despising of my dominant emotions,
And only ubiquitous silence may bring the best of me.
I am a soul wanting acceptance
Even if I don't wear a pleasing countenance.
I am a being in need of inspiration
Than mere oxygen to keep my existence.
Show me not your sympathetic face
But your empathetic heart
That can bosom me safely from ominous looks
I am a wonder none has recognized yet.
