I AM A MOTHER
I AM A MOTHER
I am a mother
Who conceives all colours and all lives;
All little and huge are born of me.
I have concealed the secrets of happiness;
Mysteries of treasure are in me,
But you never see them, nor take them.
I am a book, a book of life you should preserve;
All that can be taught about life is found in me.
I am a lesson you should learn by heart
And teach the same to your descendants.
I am a mother who can endure the mischiefs of my children.
Never consider me as neglected as a bin of trash,
And plunder me not, for I am to beget a future.
Use me as you wish, but never for your selfishness.
