I cry when I want to laugh,

I smile only for somebody's sake.

I hide the truth when I shouldn't,

I tell lies when I commit a mistake.

I admit I am fake....

I carry with me unwanted things,

I leave behind what I love to take.

I dance to the tunes I don't like,

I stand like a rock when I want to shake.

I admit I am fake....

I tolerate the pain which is not mine,

I am a volcano and I behave like a lake.

I act like one whom I don't admire,

I am fragile still I dare not to break.

I admit I am fake...

I want to express but seldom do I speak,

I love dreams but I keep myself awake.

I cover my wounds, I hold my tears,

I want to shout but silence is what I make.
