What happens?

When the body is weak, but the mind is strong.

Life can be upsetting sometimes!

Where do you get peace of mind?

At times when even the smallest hope is gone,

and how do you feel safe?

When the people you count on come crushing at you.

I want to think but thoughts just left my head,

it’s good to feel but I no longer feel anything instead!

I’m in a country where youths are leaders of tomorrow,

unfortunately, that tomorrow never comes.

We are told about change and that ‘Freedom is coming!’

well, those words must have lost their meaning.

Nothing is about ‘we’ anymore,

it’s everyone for himself, God for all!

Was told sometime back the world is never fair,

Back then I took it a joke.

Now that joke just got much bitter.

I’ve got lessons to teach my grandchildren!
