She smiled hopefully, her eyes filled with longing

Because she craved a sense of belonging

To a place? To a man? She did not know

But to find the answer, to the ends of earth she was willing to go

Every village and every city she would patiently roam

In search of a place, she could truly say is her home

She craved a tether to the real world

Maybe a small comfy space where no wrong could find her.

She could be herself in that known unknown place

She finally found her home in his warm embrace.
