Her Silence
Her Silence
When it was her time to express
She fell in love with her silence
The silence that kept her hostage
And didn't let the world hear her confess.
With her mourning without uttering a word
The world failed to notice, all that hurt.
That she has been carrying in her since ages ago
And now, when she finally decided to express,
It's no more.
With her quiet voice and words left unwritten
All that could be heard was the agony, yelled by her heart.
It screams and yells about the pain of the words
It talks about the voice left unheard
It reminds her about the people
How quiet some of them used to be
Yet somehow they astonished her
In a way, she never even thought they'd be
Silence made her weak
Took her ability to speak
So when things were out of the path
She hold on to the poems of love.
Words weren't helpful either
Few people read it
No one understood it
So when all of the worlds turned its back on her
And the hoped started to fade
She made up her mind and felt silent again
