Loss is loss universally!
The process of grief is unique to every individual:
Some can accept the reality and live with the fact for weeks,
Some take months and some take years...
Indeed, it doesn't have a fixed timeline or cycle!
Some can sway with waves seamlessly,
Dealing with the vulnerability in private;
Some drown mindlessly in front of the mocking crowd,
Dealing with the vulnerability in limelight; 

Some are strong as trees with senseless trunks:
Holding up straight and burying the pain deep within...
Some are soft as grass with tender spears:
Bending and falling yet holding up in the whirlwind...
Indeed, trees can't advise the grass,
And the grass can't advise the trees
From places they are rooted…

Healing needs just empathy and not strategy! Somedays, tucking inside a blanket,
And staying away from the world works;
Somedays, pulling yourself outside,
And breathing the fresh air works;
Sometimes, warm hugs from friends work;
Sometimes, butterfly hugs work the best...
A few times, ultimate silence helps;
A few times, non-stop talking helps;
Let it heal at its own style and pace.
Until then, trust the process,
And never lose your grip
From whatever you are holding on to.
Believe there is the rising sun,
At the end of the tunnel!
