Different time zones. Different people wake up

With wishes in their mind, a special kind.

One year older, a tad wiser, world counsellor,

A good listener Mother, a wife, unconditional lover.

Recall that we met at college, beyond our teenage

Projects we did together, information we did gather

Partnership nurtured life along, to each other did we belong.

Travel did we through good times and bad times

Saw many places, you none can replace.

Mistakes I made forgive you did,

Illnesses took you down, care I did.

Today I have waited for, to present you this garland

With a string of words freshly made from my bosom

Happy birthday to you, we all hum.
