Happiness Poem

Everyone says I write dark verses

But I wonder is it dark or being real an issue

Leaving it aside I'm traversing a poem with a smile...

Smiles gored his face when morning sun shone in the horizon

This morning is a gift of joy ..or a blessing from heaven.

His dream to be known after years of being "nobody" lit up his face...

He had so long dreamt this day where his life would change for better

As the day started with prayers ..he went along to his promised place....

Where he was welcomed with smiles and rave...

Those days of glory were the one's he cherished ...

But as time went along he realised.. those dreams were as real as a bird in a golden cage...

Then with the epoch thou mind began to dream of greener pastures and to move on...

Where the aspirations seemed to shine brighter.

To me, the mind is the ruler of the heart and it decides one's happiness..

Or to say we may be destitute or opulent but the mind makes us blithe or forlorn ..
