Growing Up- II

Growing Up- II

We need a break,

Our brains are sick but that's okay.

Because presently our grades matter

more than our mental health anyway.

In this long race, we do not

Get even a single stress free day.

Not a penny in our pockets, but,

Loads of responsibilities on our shoulders.

Our childhood is somewhere lost

Between the piles of homework.

No time for our own selves, forget about the rest.

We have to work hard even after the hard work.

Yet only a few scholars made

social changes and stop crimes.

Mostly it has been the people

 who knew moral science.

Yet society cares only about the grades.

And treats us accordingly, every time.

Gradually we lost our innocence

We're kids who are early matured.

The grade monster has even killed so many

Using it's 'exam' name sword.

Yet, even today, society worships it,

As their Ideol lord.
