Great Surprise
Great Surprise
When one day, I called on you
You pretended not to hear;
I expressed my courteous smile,
You passed by and got angry, dear.
When I intended to express my speech of heart,
But did not dare to see your stormy face;
Although seemingly, tried to become smart,
I practically lost all my grace.
I looked at you to convey my emotion
As I lost me in your charming vision;
Again, you did not show interest to my presence;
Your stern look full of contempt, disillusioned the essence.
What a great surprise it was when I started looking for a detour,
Fearing that might fall suddenly in a deep crater;
Raised my hand towards you in doubt,
You grabbed me tight with full strength of bout.
Broke the latch of the closed door of mind,
Insisted me to feel that I was actually blind.
