God Loved The World

God so loved the world

He gave away His only son.

For to us He, the child was finally born

He was God, but He came as a mere human.

For you and I, He became a sign

Wrapped in clothes, He was found in Bethlehem.

Born in a manger to a woman,

For all, He brought the gift of redemption.

He was given the authority to govern

Over the celestial beings, and the whole creation.

He was called the Wonderful Counsellor,

The Prince of Peace, Mighty God and Everlasting Father.
