Garlands Of Grief And Sorrow

Garlands Of Grief And Sorrow

2 mins

If I had a time machine by my side,

I would have been to the past,

Looking at the September rains in my heart,

And finding you beside the garden.

Letting you go was not only a pain,

But also shocking, for I forgot to breathe

And calm me down.

Beneath those scars, there was a little melancholy among us.

Thinking of you, I walked upon the cobblestone streets,

Your images surrounded my subconscious mind,

While sleeping under the cherry blossom trees,

My soul sank, but my heart clasped in mixed feelings.

I saw some strange dreams come true,

Beneath the cerulean skies and falling rafflesia,

Sapphire and selenium were what I deserved from you,

But you were standing near my grave of sorrows.

I wanted to ask you some questions,

Will you watch the leaves start falling, the way you fell for me?

Or do you want me to see you atleast once more?

Let me know before the moon laments for you.

Not so long ago, I lost you in my void,

But found you watching the stars in the north,

Because colours have their own story,

And mine was a rainbow combination.

My voice sang songs of desperation,

And some words from the poetry of remembrance,

My grave was bleeding with the ink of wounds,

There lies beneath it, the garlands of love and grief.

The sea swept me to its Rock bottom,

So do not stand there and wait for me,

I will soon be gone above the clouds,

Where you will never see me again.
