My June Poem

My June Poem

Finally you are here, O mellifluous June,

Sing a song with a melodious tune,

Thanks for bringing us the hyacinth sky,

Where we could see the rainbow colours fly.

You bought us peace and happiness,

You relieved us from depression and stress,

As we remember those days of fun and play,

Outside the green valley, throughout the day.

For the South, this is the season of monsoon,

We are expecting it very soon,

The raindrops that fall at our feet,

Are so cheerful and sweet.

Cold winds blow in the morning,

A pleasant atmosphere is dawning,

Clouds cover the entire ceiling,

Peace of mind is just a feeling.

Our eyes gaze at the tropical green,

So far, it was only a dream,

The birds flew back to the house,

After a command from the mouse.

The night when we sleep,

Send us the magical crystals of dreams from the deep,

Our dreams are the flowers poured in a milk,

And our sorrows tied to a thread of silk.

May you shower us with lots of love,

Bring it through the white dove,

Send us the meteor, of joy the sign,

We will be absolutely fine.
