Fumble Tongue!

Fumble Tongue!

183

They say that they care about you.

But what they really care about

Is what it is you say or do.

But it is very clear and plain to me,

They can do and say just what they please

And now it seems we can't just agree,

They only care what others see and think.

Just reading between every little sordid line

Wondering if the pieces will fit and link.

Double standards for all concerned,

Nothing else matters the times have changed

Yes, in the end, nothing has been learned.

But what does it really matter if I try to defend

No one will ever win in this jumbled plight.

And now it is getting closer to the end.
