You turned the negatives into coloured photographs where the memories made with you shall always lie. 

Your camera captures moments in time perfectly as they should be,

I wish my eyes did the same and I could immortalize every second spent with you.

Your laughter is contagious and the smile that breaks across

your face could only be rivalled by the crescent moon in a midnight sky.

It pains my heart to see you cry, my soul bleeds every time you do,

For I would do anything to keep you safe and shielded from the wars that tear people apart.

My heart wants yours to know nothing but love and laughter but life is not such,

So it settles to memorizing every moment of your happiness and remembers you that way forever.
