Friendship

Friendship is a priceless gift

That cannot be bought or sold

But its value is much greater

Than a mountain of gold

But gold is cold and lifeless

It has no heart to understand 

It cannot bring comfort

Or give you a helping hand 

So when you ask God for a gift

Be thankful the lends

Nor diamond, pearls or riches

But the love of a real and true friend
