Freed From Bonds
Freed From Bonds
We are meager slaves of our society
Its built norms, I do pity
Our tradition is undoubtedly
A bliss,
Until it bonds us with its wish.
Rules are followed
Until it wears a veil of fair play,
The traditions possessioned,
Only till iniquity doesn't start to
Mold us it's own way.
History speaks for the reasons fair
The girth of confidence is not bare
Every bondage whether color, gender
Caste or creed,
Have triggered thy blood to take the
Lead.
That day when we start to use,
Our fearlessness to vault our fears.
When every knot of self-doubt
Is rendered free by the wars we fought.
When the arrows of
'what will people say',
Would fail to drill through
our shield of dreams array.
When every disrespect
Stitches a cape of perspect,
Will, they let us free from bondage,
Stepping with our heads high
On this voyage.
