Forever And Beyond....

Often under a happy sky, a beaming sun,

When the red noon throws down a singing light,

A smile of mine shall join those golden rays,

Hoping it'll reach you through all the ways,

Thinking of the happy words said and done,

Even though far, we'll still be one.

Often when the moon lightens the world in its silver glaze,

And the twinkling stars whisper secrets to the sleeping earth,

A calm breath of mine shall join the silent night,

Missing you when you're out of sight,

Thinking of all the promises unbroken,

And of all the words that never needed be spoken.

Often when the clouds wear a lining grey,

And the heavens pour down a drink that's life,

A wishful tear of mine shall join the hopeful drop,

Which, with the dreaming clouds shall elope,

Thinking of the distance thats many a mile,

Praying it falls to your lips and makes you smile.

Often when the wind brings with it a soothing calm,

And the coloured autumn leaves play hide and seek,

A silent prayer of mine shall join its merry song,

Asking for a life that's happy and long,

Thinking of our friendship, we're eternally one,

We're destined to meet again, even if its over the horizon.
