The Song Of The Rain

I fall from the unknown skies,

I touch the heart of earth,

I have no voice, and yet do speak,

I am the blessing of God;

I can take a life, and give a life,

It’s all in me;

I am the pearl of the necklace,

the birth of the grain,

I am the green of the leaves,

the flower and the fruit,

I am the flow of the river,

the beauty of the sea,

I am the mirror on the flower,

the scent of the soil;

I am the joy of a child,

the song of nature,

I am the rain.
