Flickering Hope
Flickering Hope
Maybe I'll see you again,
When the scars you gave me,
As souvenirs fail to pacify.
When the butterflies forget to flutter,
And the little hope in me would die.
Maybe I'll see you again,
When the moon turns crimson,
And the ebony sky lets out a cry.
When the dreadful stillness of nights
And the hollow screams begin to terrify.
Maybe I'll see you again,
When mere breathing in and out,
Becomes too excruciating to deny.
When death would descend,
From the sun blazing flames sky high.
