First Trip
First Trip
It was the dawn
Of a new day and new year,
When I started my trip
To the hill station with the family.
The road was silent and trees
Started waking with the sun,
That spreading its bright rays
On earth looking beautiful as
He came after some days
To wipe away the fog,
As it was the winter season,
His coming felt everyone pleasing,
The cool air seemed to me pleasant
As it wanted to speak something
We paced ahead facing the sun
Came across monkeys on the silent
Road tried to find something to eat,
Then we throw some fruit at them
The road was rough and narrow,
On small hills, we drove up and
Down; somewhere the sloop
Was steep and bent was sharp,
As we turned the car;
Children screamed with fear,
Came across new places that
I have never seen; touch that part
Of my heart, that lies at home.
Beautiful lush green hills,
With tiny fields, shown by farmers
In rows and curved shapes,
Add beauty to the hills
Then we lost our way,
Where we have to reach,
Ask some people on the way,
But we lead to the other road,
From was not possible to return
Due to narrow road and sharp bent.
Did not know where the road will go?
Then we follow the road sign
And continue our journey for the trip,
Beholding the pleasant flowery valleys
And nature's beauty that I never
Seen before felt amazing,
Children feeling hungry and
Frightened for not finding the way,
To our destination, yet enjoying the music,
After some time we find a beautiful lake
Before noon, felt relieved and smiled on
Our desperate faces,
Children ate some noodles there
Then we went to the lake
The tranquil water of the lake
Gave us peace and calm,
While Sitting in the canopy
Enjoyed the beauty of it.
Green hills and light fog
Surround it, we enjoyed boating
Then find our way home,
Feeling enriched and free
On the first trip.
