Firefly And Moth

A Revolutionary Ballad

       Firefly and moth were friends close,

       like the bond of scent and rose;

       firefly was thirsty for lore

       its desire rised more and more.

       it flew here and there,

       it found no school anywhere!

       As nature gives chance to all

       All insects gather'd at angel's call,

      Allah sent that to educate the  insects, 

      knowledge is light, it's fact,

      

      Firefly asked his mate, it seems

      Has awoke our fate,

      let's go and acquire the knowledge

      As for insects ther's no college!

      Angel hath come only for tonight!

      And Lore will award us sight! 

       

      Moth: i can't come with you tonight,

      tonight is dark stormy night! 

      Firefly: i'll make thy way bright

      Allah has bestow'd me light, 

      Moth: but tonight i'll take rest

      thine going alone is the best? 

      with lore i've no interest!

      I'll play all the life and rest.

     

     Heart broken fly flew from its place,

     At midnight to seek Allah's grace;

       

     An angel was teaching before          insects ;

     Firefly heard, it raised its interest,

     Ne'er touch the fire! the Angel did        warn,

     It burns everything with color red and warm!

       

     If you touch the fire you'll die!

     fly away! if the fire is 'fore you lie, 

     firefly felt happy listening that 

     And Angel flew up teaching that. 

     Firefly, I'll teach it my intimate,

     it'll make bright its fate;

     Tis, other side; 

     Moth felt lonely and got afraid,

     dark wintery night made him afraid!

     it flew away in quest of light 

     to make its dark chamber bright;

     Firefly approach'd the chamber 

     and found the moth vanished!

     it wept more and more 

     but moth appear'd no more!.

     firefly set out in search of moth 

     and till now flies;

     it seeks moth everywhere but

     where the fire lies!.

    

     Poor moth wander'd in quest

     of light,and till now wanders! 

     it does find fire;falls on and burns! 

     away from light firefly seeks moth

     and mourns; 

     Both seek each other with pain 

     and sing melancholy strain! 

     Indeed, knowledge shows the

     right way;

     Faseeh, it saves us from being 

     astray.
