The Festival of light,

Making our days bright.

Bad virtues get wiped out,

Old bad memories, now ripe.

Finding out a new dress,

To celebrate Diwali with grace.

Holidays after a long day,

Friends are called upon to stay,

And burst out the crackers all day.

Joyous moments everywhere,

Still, sadness somewhere.

Let's light up their moods too,

And make this Diwali for them true.

Lit Diya gives new energy,

And brings prosperity.

Beautiful Rangolis,

Make our houses look more pretty.
