Fear

You conquered it or it conquered you

 You grew or it grew in you

Words changed just side by side

 But trust me, there is still a long way to ride

As a child, we feared dark nights

Souls are frozen and fists are fixed tight.

You can still recall of those ghostly things haunting your mind.

That is the power of fear insight

Fall is what many fear

Usually leaves us in tear

Yes, it makes all of us cry my dear.

As if someone is lending an ear.

Sometimes just one question and our minds are tossed.

And the invisible powers leaves us with our fingers crossed.

Society said, "you fail".

This thought alone leaves us pale.

Ah, we forget our fight

All we only remember is where to hide.

Then comes a person with light.

And holds our hand so tight

To teach us :

What's wrong, what's right.

Fear is losing that one hold.

And even thought of it makes us cold.

If fear yet did not make you knelt.

Then just check out your life's conveyer belt.

People came, got stuck, stayed and left.

Tell me if fear is not yet felt

Maybe the thing that lets me be free.

Makes you think of that one flee.

Yeah! Fear is in everyone's diet.

Carved in every statue in your slight

All you need is vision enough wide

Maybe it is in one of those folds

Know it if you want your hold.

Remember: escape is not the key.

You never fear the pond, if you are the sea.
