Failure
Failure

The rosy days
Ended spreading thorns all over
In the heart that slew once
And in the blood that gushed once.
It doesn't matter what happened
After the rollercoaster ride ended.
All that matters is the ride
And the adrenaline that flowed.
The pain seemed endless
The suffering seemed numb.
But the memories pumped life
And the chats sang lullabies.
My dreams taught me the reality
And wishes taught me practicality.
My heart learned lessons
And my ways learnt betterment.
We didn't end up as we have planned,
But you were once the choice I wanted.
It all now seems to be worth the desires
Ending in fruitful pain.
We aren't together,
So that doesn't mean we are a failure.
You were a learning
To me in disguise.
