Ode To A Stranger
Ode To A Stranger
A new stranger in class,
Her eyes furious when you entered.
Long ponies, fussing games
And all just seemed a fairytale.
Solving maths, mapping maps
Somewhere got you close to her place.
Fighting friends judge somewhere
And her heart was her justice.
Her class projects, your forgotten textbooks
Fetched her remarks in her calender.
Secretly helping, annonymous well-wisher,
Couldn't get anything better.
Your hugs, her hoe
And she wished for a memory erase.
Vacations- to boredom- to loss of your vision,
She saw you in her poetry and dreams.
During a farewell, from a class picture to a solo one,
She couldn't utter the truth!!
