Envy
Envy
I crumble under the weight of my jealousy
Everyday, every night
In silence
In chaos
In my highs
And my lows.
I question my integrity,
My love,
And my heart,
Do I deserve this?
I thought our love was beautiful
Like the sunset in the horizon,
Strong like the mountain
Standing upfront against all odds.
Hardly did I know,
That it was fragile like a feather
Flying with the slightest breeze,
And dancing to the tune of any rhythm.
Leaving me like a hollow vacuum
Eating away all my sorrow,
And boiling in my envy
Looking at someone new in my place.
