Faded Promises

Faded Promises

We once walked under silver skies ,
With endless dreams inside our eyes .
Your hand in mine felt warm and true ,
I thought my world began with you .
But seasons changed, your voice grew cold ,
The love we had could not hold .
The messages became so few ,
And silence slowly broke us two .
I still recall those midnight calls .
Your laughter dancing through the halls .
Now every memory feels like rain ,
Softly falling with hidden pain .
You left without a last goodbye ,
And taught my hopeful heart to cry .
Some stories end before they bloom ,
Leaving love beside its tomb .
